“Wow! You have a ton of hair!”
That’s a phrase I’ve heard time and time again whenever I get my hair cut by someone new for the first time.
You see, my hair grows in very thick and if I let it go unattended for a couple of weeks, it goes wild.
Recently, I’ve grown tired of constantly getting my hair trimmed.
I got sick of having to take 30-45 minutes out of my day to drive to the barber and sit in a chair.
All I wanted was to look clean cut, save time, and not have to worry about fucking with my hair in the morning before going out into public.
So what did I do?
I Went For The High Tight
For those of you that don’t know what that means, a high and tight haircut is basically like getting a military or US marine style haircut.
You instruct your barber to use either a 1 or 000 clipper blade on the side of your head and a 2 to 4 clipper blade on top.
When done correctly you will come out looking clean, lean, and mean.
No more waking up with annoying bed head.
No more wasting endless amounts of time visiting the barber every few weeks.
And no more looking like a slob.
Do yourself a favor today and cut that annoying hair off.
Perception Is Reality
Like it or not, you are constantly being judged by everyone that you encounter every day.
Everyone forms either a positive or negative opinion about you based off of how you look.
The first thing everyone looks at when they gaze upon you is your face.
The look of your face is drastically affected by the style of your hair.
Whenever I see another man who has a Justin Bieber style haircut or the dreaded man bun, I automatically assume 2 things.
- He never had a strong male masculine presence in his life.
- He is a low testosterone male feminist.
Just like that, I automatically lose all respect for them without directly interacting with them in any way.
However, when I see a man who has a clean-cut high and tight haircut my perception of them is completely different.
I see a man that has self-discipline and goals.
A man who isn’t down with the latest sissy trends and doesn’t give a damn about any of that nonsense.
I’ll automatically trust him more and have more respect from him… all because of a clean haircut.
Well folks, fair or not, that’s the world we live in.
You may have noticed that in this article I refer to the person cutting my hair as a barber.
That is because men should only go to barber shops and get their haircut done by other men.
For some reason, women are incapable of giving a good clean high and tight haircut.
Every time I have gotten my haircut done by a woman they simply don’t do a good job and fail to understand what I want.
Instead of getting a nice high and tight clean cut I end up with a rushed, less than stellar experience that leaves me feeling pissed off.
So, do yourself a favor and skip out on the corporate haircut joints that are filled with 20-year-old high school dropouts and always visit a local barber.
What About Cutting Your Own Hair?
While a high and tight haircut isn’t difficult to do, I don’t recommend buying your own clippers and cutting your own hair.
I tried this myself for a while and found out that it is very messy and difficult to do.
In other words, it was a giant pain in the ass.
Some things in life are worth paying for and a haircut is one of them.
Again, find yourself a local barber, get yourself a high and tight haircut, and enjoy looking clean, lean, and trim.
